Jorma & Papa John - 1985 - Never Happen No More

Here's a pretty interesting video of Jorma Kaukonen with a very old Papa John Creach. He was pushing 70 at this point, but you can still hear the brilliance in his fiddling that gave the Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna such a unique sound. Enjoy.

Excuse me, but "pushing 70" is not "very old".... Scuba Jan 2012 #1

It was a pretty cool, low keyed reunion. Papa John looked pretty fragile up on the stage...but once they started playing, that fiddling just came alive. In an era of great muscians, Papa John carved out his own niche with his 'electric' violin and a really great complimentary player for both the Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna.
