DeYoung sings "on d-every shore". Guy is from Chicagoland. We grew up about 20 miles apart. We don't have a "D" in the word "every".
Then he makes "Lad" a 2 syllable word.
He became such a thespian in his later years.
Made me prefer the Tommy Shaw songs.
