parents' radio. That and the Martha White Flour commercials let me know I needed to boogie to make it to the bus.

Needless to say I hated it but I felt differently after I heard him sing it live at the Grand Ole Opry - he could really put on a show.

He was the closer for the last broadcast from the Ryman Auditorium and they could not get him off the stage. It was amazing. I think he would have gone all night except the Grand Ole Gospel Hour was trying to start its live performance.
