This band took my breath away when I first heard them....
Robert Smith is a vastly under rated guitarist and songwriter imho. As many here will have noticed most of my posting in this thread are either 60's bands or punk bands..... The Cure is different. I read a reviewer once who said that Robert Smith was incapable of writing 3 bad songs in a row. I tend to agree. If you haven't given these guys a listen do yourself a favor and .... get a smile on your face and your foot tapping ;D

They do seamless pop and every other genre there is..... as a treat listen to the live performance of "A Forest" where Robert was forced to leave the stage for a MUCH lessor talent (IMHO) Robert Palmer. Yes I said that.
