I have one of the Satriani models. The shape of the neck is perfect for my hand and boy can one play fast on that guitar.

I've had other guitar players mention how easy it is to play fast on i.

I like the Gem that Steve uses, too. But, i really don't have a lot of need for the scalloped fingerboard. I have a fairly light touch, but not that light.

On Edit: Steve has a custom made 3 neck. One neck is fretless and one of the necks has an interface so it controls synthesizers. He leaves it open tuned and can strum a chord and get synth backing, then do a Fripp like think on the fretted neck while running legato lines on the fretless neck. Awfully impressive.
