Rocketfire 69 strat pickups ramblings of a 51 year old tone nerd

Awesome pickups alnico 5 magnets period wiring gray bottom bobbins. I bought this set used awhile ago it was a impulse purchase. And I dropped them into my 78 Greco Japan strat yesterday . Whoa I’m hearing a tone I grew up with that clean sparkle and kick in some fuzz and ok sitting here with the dogs. Why we could be jamming with the Band of gypsies or the stones or Jeff beck. Rolling off the tone and volume to opening it up I’m smiling. I cannot wait for our boys to get home today from visiting their grandmother and let them play and hear the guitar. Also please take into account in reading this review that I may be tone deaf as I do have a hearing aid😁
