Distractions 11/09/2022

London this summer. Went to watch a couple of women's soccer matches. Couldn't carry my camera for 2 days since we weren't going back to the hotel before heading to the stadium. They won't let you bring in a "pro" camera. Pro seems to mean removable lens. Had no knowledge of secure storage on site.
Digging through the collection to come up with these examples.

Old and new skyline

Poaching some one's photo shoot.

Tower bridge.

Thanks for the photos. I haven't been to London since the early 1980s.

From the death star to a (yikes!) skeleton in a cage!

Love 'em all.

Thanks for sharing this eclectic collection!

This shows the result of gibbeting. The display of a dead or dying body to persuade others not to follow that person's course of action. This cage is just outside "the Clink, a prison Museum.

I was wondering.

That is some major creepy right there, even more so when you know the backstory!
