***March means the Winter Photo Contest!***

It's time to think of how you see the winter season. Is it sports, or holidays, food or family?

However you see Winter, now is the time to look over your photos and decide which is your best photo of winter!

Here's the timeline:

Submissions to open on March 6th, next Monday.

Preliminary Polls will be up March 12th or whenever we get to 30 photos. They will run 48 hours.

I will run the Finals immediately after the preliminary polls close. The Finals will also run 48 hours.

The Winners thread right after that. The whole contest should be done by March 18th.

"view from outside my front door" photo! Hmmm...back to the drawing board.

Weather has been wacky here; snow, rain, snow, rain!

Maybe I'll just have to think outside the box!

6. There's no reason that you shouldn't use that photo in the contest, my dear Callalily!

The prohibition applies to photos that have been entered in prior contests. I'm probably going to enter the one that I posted the other day.

Yours is an excellent photo!

I enjoy hosting (for the most part, lol). I feel as though I've benefited a lot from being a member here, and hosting is my way of saying thank you to the Group.

It's also a good way to show my gratitude that the Photo Group exists.
