1. How I would love to take a walk with you, with the camera around my neck, strolling to see all that,

where it obviously is not very cold. Not that I can complain in NC
These are fun, and varied, and a very nice visual report. Your work is getting more interesting all the time IMO.
I like the 7th one especially, it makes me do a triple take about where the water starts and stops. NICE!

3. It rained on and off. Water levels were down 18 feet on one side of the dam - I ruined a pair of

shoes getting closer to the water. (looking for shells & other things exposed by the drain)

Got a new camera and still trying to get comfortable with it. Both exciting and frustrating.

Couldn't get close to the dam - wasn't allowed.

Lots of turtles. Seriously - turtles everywhere. No gators.

Going to Lake Charles soon for those. lol

Still wear shorts most days.

Peaceful surroundings. You would have enjoyed it. We didn't see half of the park. Fairly large. The birds were scarce. (except for ducks)

My own yard is still flooded from the rains last week and the week before. Very squishy.

We were checked for bacteria and other things (the standing water). We had a "boil" warning last week. Yikes!

We're OK, they claim. lol

2. Oh, I love Louisiana

but I've only been there in the summer... enjoy the photos anytime of the year from your neck of the woods!
