They take off with me too, but unfortunately fly away in the wrong direction so I get photos of their tale. Isn't it a thrill to get photos of hawks? I especially love your flying ones with the feet hanging down. I don't have a single hawk photo like that.

i was lucky because where he was perched i could use parked cars as cover as i approached him
i did get a couple of funny looks as i slithered across the ground in a parking lot
