Pail and Shovel Party got it's name by dumping a truckful of coin-laden sand next to the waiting line for student registration, then providing students with toy pails and shovels to dig for cash.



Those were heady days.

i visited a lot in 79 when p/s was the head of teh student organization. loved madison so much we lived there from 2006-2009 before winter won and we moved to austin (madison w/o snow)

I have a friend who "collects" pink flamingos and places them all over her yard. And she doesn't even live in Madison!
