(90,762 posts)Even a water spigot or some sort of an arrangement of objects.
Glass vases of varying colors/styles? Arrangements on a mantel? Table centerpieces? Things that are stacked/arranged from small to large?
I know that I can use anything; just hoping someone will suggest something that starts a spark... guess this rainy weather is getting to me... I was really hoping to photograph my new outhouse for the contest but it is not getting done.
your photos are great, BTW

(90,762 posts)about saying anything can be used. Sorry I wasn't more help.
That red chair you posted not too long ago? Is there a place in the kitchen or dining area to arrange it....sort of an inside landscape kind of thing?
ETA: You could use the photo in your OP? I was just thinking that could work.

Convert your image to black and white, then play with contrast, light, and curves.

(20,886 posts)Stack three or more shots with everything in focus from very close to infinity. Rain or overcast won't affect that approach, and in fact, will make it even easier.

(22,756 posts)of the sewing machine were all high aperture (HDR)... I guess I am assuming that HDR is only good with lots of light/shadow

(22,756 posts)I could live there (standing joke for me)...
I am committed to not going out (price of gas and all) and I had wanted to finish my outhouse and get my shot there... other than that, the only old buildings are my house and garage
from a few months ago... actually I might go back up on my roof and try this one green
