Related: About this forum(really) long exposure
just got one shot (pretty chilly out tonight)... my outhouse is almost done!! (my project to use all scrap wood and stuff laying around that needed to either be thrown out or used for something didn't spend any money... just lots of frivolous time) I worked on putting up the lamp today... cut down all but 6 feet of a 30+ foot tree for the post and it got hung up in all the surrounding branches
...pretty excited about recycling "stuff"

(19,459 posts)Long exposure shots are some of my favorites.
This one really gives the feel of being in the woods when it's reeeeeeeally dark.
Enhanced by the fact that it's a sultry evening, I've got my front door open, and the crickets are a chirpin' as I write this.

When you said (really) long exposure I was picturing one of those star trails pics that are like 3 hour exposures.
