January 2014 Photo Contest.

I am now accepting submissions for the January Photo Contest.

!!!PLEASE READ!!!

The January contest is blind submissions. Meaning the photographers remain anonymous until the end of the contest. At which time all names will be revealed in the winner's thread.

All submissions should be sent to me via DUMail. Please do not post your entry in this thread.

Please include a title for your photograph.



Theme: Sunrise Sunset


Photos can be in B&W or Color.

Post processing limited to basic post-processing.(brightness/contrast/ lighting, color balance/ saturation,sharpness, blur effect, cropping/angle adjustment, etc.)

Please keep your entry no larger than 800 pixels in its longest dimension and under 300K in file size. If you need help posting a photograph or with image sizing, just ask.


Prelims begin on the 15th and will run for 72 hours. Final will run for 72 hours.

CONTEST LICENSE:

An entrant to this contest, by submitting a photograph, is giving permission for that photograph to be copied to Demopedia or to a linked Gallery and included in a DU Calendar that will display the photographs entered for this contest for the purpose of publicizing future contests and/or commemorating current and past contests.

The entrant retains all other rights to the photograph being submitted. Neither Demopedia and/or a linked Gallery may use any photograph submitted for any purpose other than to display the photograph being submitted by the entrant, and neither gains any real or implied ownership rights to the photograph.

7. This is going to be a tough competition.

Sorry I couldn't come up with something new. I've been a caregiver for my wife the past three weeks. She got sick, had a bad fall, broke her wrist, and is feeling rather blue. She's doing better, but the weather sucks.

I like sunrises/sunsets and have lots of photos. But I knew immediately
there were about half a dozen that I really love. My entry is a year old...
so...take a trip down memory lane and I bet you'll find your entry.
