Wanted to do this, after being out of town AND having COLD and then rain for days, I awoke at about 6:15 this morning to head to the cottage, knowing it would be sunny at the river! Knew I wouldn't make it to the cottage for sunrise, we'll see what shows up in the window tomorrow, but at least got a nice suburban sky, and am riverside now.

THIS one's for YOU, Mira! Liked the whispy grey clouds to the right.

and a question, another with the whispy grey clouds. Do you prefer frame of the first, or more whispy in the 2d?

this would be a worthy entry into the contest, if you don't have one in there already.

and was as usual rushing to shoot the disappearing colors, so straight horizon lines become compromised! AND, my lawn/yard isn't at all flat, so I wobble when I'm outside, hence lack of the perfectly straight horizon!

I love your enthusiasm playing with your camera. You are having fun, it seems. Isn't it great that getting involved in photography makes you notice so much more beauty in the world than you pay attention to at other times?

Spend time every day studying weather forecasts to determine what's what, where! Cloudy now, rain tomorrow, so probably back to 'town,' but that's life!!!
