A Special Hug

I've heard it said before that there are times when it doesn't matter if you take a lousy photo, as long as you take it. My kids and I volunteered at the Special Olympics over the weekend and of course my camera followed me there. Unfortunately the light wasn't good and I had to really push the ISO to be able to come away with any photos at all. I grabbed this photo just before the awards ceremony, even if it's not a great photograph I think it tells a great story.

Especially with all the problems you had with the circumstances. I love it.
