Some visual fun for Solly Mack

First, a wishing you a speedy recovery rose.

Second, yay I finally got a bird! This is an Audubon warbler, also known as a yellow rumped Audubon warbler. Can't imagine why.

A tiny denizen of my pond. A bullfrog, not to be confused with my tree frogs.

Now for some weirdness.
Lichen, not too weird.

Polka dot leaves. A little weirder.

Chicken wire. I was actually trying to shoot beyond it to get a bluejay, but that telephoto setting is tricky... and hard to hand hold.

Parrot's father and duckweed create a rather surreal landscape.

Back to the macro setting for a cactus.

Now for the really weird. I was testing the telephoto setting, but I was too close. Reflections and plants and a bit of blur create an abstract wonderland.

I've been having a lot of fun with the new camera. So nice not to have to stop and change lenses. All the settings are at my finger tips. It even has a setting specifically designed for a friend of mine.... it's called the blink setting. It fires off two shots in quick succession to catch the eyes open. I've shot many photos of her for various events or projects over the years, and I don't think I've caught her with her yes open yet.

And the bullfrog. And the rose is gorgeous.

Oh hell, what am I doing.....I love them all. Hope they give Solly Mack a smile when she sees them.
