and the whole photogroup.
Sometimes mother nature decides to kick your ass and sometimes she decides to remind you of the beauty of this world. We've had a lot of rain this summer, while others have had none. Some have been wild storms that wiped out trees and electric, but a few ended up beautiful. One evening last week the storm and sunset fired everything up to the deepest golden color I have ever seen in this small corner of the world. These are a few of my attempts to capture it. Though the photos just do not do justice to the richness and glow everything had they at least caught a bit of the magic I think.
Adding in some soaking rain wet daisies for Solly...

Oh, cynical me. I should just be quiet sometimes.
These are absolutely wonderful. I can smell all these places in my mind.

I thought it was a little eerie, but not enough to freak me out.
Maybe, if I'd had that beautiful scene in photo #1....

(8,039 posts)also but Sabine has not cooperated for a photo just for you yet. We are working on it though.
I would love to see how she looks now.
I'm off in 2 days to be with my Mom. Probably for the last time her condition is beyond grave and she is 90. Return is in a month. Maybe.
I'm told I will have internet. My brother has an attic area that has a bed, accessible by a ladder. But he says I can be up there and have internet. I believe it when it works.
Thanks for thinking of me!

(8,039 posts)your mom though not the reason why. You both have my love and wishes for a smooth journey. Right now Sabine looks a mess as she decided it was time to for her coat to blow. She shed a whole new dog daily. Give your mom a hug from her MD fan.
