1. NICE!

Haven't been out yet, but was overcast this evening. Hope it clears up by morning, for eclipse of blood moon.

edit: RAINING now!

2. If I'm awake, I hope to get a couple of shots of the blood moon tonight...

I'm not usually awake then.

Those are very pretty photos!

3. I'm thinking of setting the alarm to get up for the eclipse.

Problem is, it will be obscured by trees from our house, so I'd probably have to walk up to the next street for a clear view.
Not sure I want to do that to hang around for an hour at 5 a.m.

4. I can try

to either stay up late, or get up early. Totality here will be at 3:55 am. I'd like to take photos but they'd be blurred because I don't have a tripod. We'll see!

BTW, those are nice shots! The moon has certainly put on a spectacular show this year!

I shot this earlier this year. See what I mean by blurred? I'll stop here.

5. What is this moon of which you speak?

The sun is still above the horizon here.

7. Still light here.

I think the eclipse runs from 2:00 to 5:00 or something like that, and I plan to be by a neighborhood lake to see if I can get some good shots, my husbad's down in Texas, so I can stay up all night if I feel like it.

I should mention that it's crystal clear here, which is excellent.
