Haven't been out yet, but was overcast this evening. Hope it clears up by morning, for eclipse of blood moon.

Problem is, it will be obscured by trees from our house, so I'd probably have to walk up to the next street for a clear view.
Not sure I want to do that to hang around for an hour at 5 a.m.

to either stay up late, or get up early. Totality here will be at 3:55 am. I'd like to take photos but they'd be blurred because I don't have a tripod. We'll see!

BTW, those are nice shots! The moon has certainly put on a spectacular show this year!

I shot this earlier this year. See what I mean by blurred? I'll stop here.

I think the eclipse runs from 2:00 to 5:00 or something like that, and I plan to be by a neighborhood lake to see if I can get some good shots, my husbad's down in Texas, so I can stay up all night if I feel like it.

I should mention that it's crystal clear here, which is excellent.

totality about 5:30

its supposed to be cloudy here in the early morn but i plan on getting up earlu to check
