A shout out to Alfredo from my Piggy Banks

Alfredo pointed out to us in a post here that the Sony NEX 7 was on sale at B&H Photo Supply. The reduction was so drastic that I took the opportunity to buy this camera which I had been wishing for for a pretty long time.

It got here today, I just put it the battery and installed the CD for it and here is one of my very first shots in honor of Alfredo, plus my piggy banks are thanking you for not being totally empty.

Remember my Mom? She had that one and said she bought it for a few Euros because the dopey facial expression reminded her of someone she really did not like.
We laughed about that so much (I seconded that thing about the similarity) and I asked if I could take it home with me to the other ones in my house as a memory.
I'm glad I did, because once she died it would have been thrown away and this way we all enjoy it.
(It really has a slot in the top)

that you could do all the things with it that I will possibly never understand.
It's an incredible deal - I will strive to make having it worthwhile - thanks again.
