First light with a new/used lens, and one with my walk around lens.

The first four were shot with a new used lens I just got in the mail. It’s a Lumix 14mm 2.5. I forgot how much I like shooting 28mm. The last one is with the Lumix 20mm 1.7. Used a fade filter on that image. Note the poison ivy. It looks pretty good for this late in the season.

I can't decide whether the first or second are my favorite, but the visible rays of light in the first one are beautiful. Too bad you didn't get to that mushroom a day or two earlier----Shaggy Manes are delicious before they turn.

Actually, I didn't know anything about wild mushrooms either, but I decided to work with identifying the 1) choice mushrooms, 2) the poisonous mushrooms, and 3) the mushrooms that can have poisonous look-alikes. I guarantee you that the Shaggy Mane is very distinctive and easy to identify, and while it is white with pink gills, it is awesome. But it is pretty creepy when you see them melt into a puddle of black goo.
