Monticello Dam

Dec 2014


Jan 2016 I can't see any difference in the water level even after the rain we've had.


There is only one angle you can get with a big lens, which are the above shots. So I decided to shoot a few with my cheapo, Tracfone for a different angle. Took a lot more processing to get a decent result.

Especially the canyon below the dam.

Hard to believe the water level hasn't changed. It's rained a lot.

Of course the lake went down after Dec 2014. So what we've gained probably is just compensation for summer loss.

And yes, the geology around there is fascinating.
