of a local large Mexican owned grocery store a mile from my house. It is frequented almost exclusively by Spanish speaking immigrants.

Everybody all around me starts calling my name.
"Mira" ----"Mira"

Thanks for the photo - you are making me laugh at the end of a day of working the polls and being out there talking to people in the hot but beautiful sunshine.

Story: I was born in Germany. The Nazis were still in power for another few months. I was baptized Mira. The name police did not like it and told my parents to make it Arian and acceptable by changing out the "i"to a "y".

Geez.
