I like the varying textures in the first one, so many different things to explore.
The second one intrigued me immediately due to the juxtaposition of the fly and the green and brown of the living and dead vegetation; two of the four colors that I normally associated with flies.

I absolutely love it! The brown on the bug with the brown leaf. The striking white on it's face & the shades of green. What a fab shot!
