Humboldt Redwoods, California....

These shots were actually kind of incidental on a drive through the Mattole valley in Humboldt County, California. Photographing the redwood forest is challenging for me. The trees are so big that it's hard to convey a sense of scale without including something utterly unnatural in the frame.
