Related: About this forumShort trip to the NC Mountains - came home with a few in anticipation of “Coolin’ it”
In a river going through Cherokee NC where this part is dedicated to the people and called a city parkThese guys I ran across in an old barn, and then I went to the river and saw the Elk, below
I treaded gently knowing there were Elk in those woods, and sure enough I got to see a wonderful specimen
At this point I was plotting carefully where I would escape to if necessary, and trying to speculate who could run faster

Hey!

(22,380 posts)3. Hey back at you
I had a visit from my cousin from Vienna, Austria. Of all the first cousins he is the youngest and I'm the oldest. We got to learn about each other and he also got to learn about the Hinterland of NC --- the Cherokee, Asheville, Biltmore, and the Elks. We had a great time. We both kept photographing that elk and worrying about our safety. I love it when the blood pumps that way

I have some ideas too, from photos I've taken before.

This is an all encompassing theme, we ought not to have a problem with it. I look forward to the submissions.
