Coexisting--dedicated to alfredo and Solly Mack

I was sitting at my desk--watching the votes roll in for the preliminaries--looked up and there they were!

Coexisting--an American Goldfinch and a rose finch or house finch or purple finch?--at the ant cup hanging above the hummingbird feeder.

I only got two shots before one flew away--would love to have one in better focus.

The hummers aren't too happy to find "big" birds at their feeder!
I have yet to get a decent shot of a hummer hovering a foot or so away when one of the "big" birds
is hanging out at the watering hole.

my little Canon point and shoot--which was in a drawer. I barely had time to turn the camera on
and when I appear in the glass door it often spooks the birds.

I've never tried standing and waiting for the birds to appear ready to use the sequential shooting. Maybe one day I will.

I was using a point and shoot at the time.
