1. Well, it's not the sun

so I'd say you're learning pretty well!

Nice pic, Peggy!

2. Ah, you made me laugh, my dear True Dough!

In some ways, not many, the sun is easier! At least you have daylight to work by.

Thanks!

7. Okay. I thought you had some amazing telephoto lens. Love moons.

We had a cottage that was right across from the moon at night. It's light reflected in the water. My friends and I would toast it.

9. I love the moon too! It is endlessly fascinating.

I am using a really nice telephoto lens. It runs from 16mm (wide angle) to 300mm. And then when you crop the photo, that brings it in much closer. I love being able to do that!

Your cottage sounds wonderful. I'd be out there toasting it too!

6. Thank you! You are too kind, my dear MLAA!

I've been told that I have the photographer's eye........I hope so. I do enjoy playing with the camera and getting images I can work with.

That's right, it is the harvest moon.

I was just happy to get some decent photos.

10. Thank you Peggy.

That is beautiful.

(Is this why 45 is behaving worse than usual? The full moon?)

12. Thank you, dear murielm99!

I really wanted to get a decent shot!

Actually, stories about the full moon making people crazy are just myths. We don't need the full moon to be crazy.........we do fine on our own!

16. "Shine on Harvest Moon!" Thanks Peggy.

The night was mighty dark so you could hardly see
For the moon refused to shine
Couple sitting underneath the willow tree
For love they pined

Little May was kinda 'fraid of darkness
So she says, "I guess I'll go"
Boy began to sigh, looked up to the sky
Told the sky his little tale of woe

So shine on
Shine on harvest moon
Up in the sky

I ain't had no loving since
January, February, June or July

Snow time ain't no time
To stay outdoors and spoon, so shine on
Shine on harvest moon for me and my gal

18. It was amazing this morning in Savannah

Looked like a giant neon sign in the sky. The edges of the disc were glowing! Nice pick too!
