...I was accepted for an art gallery at Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C. Opening is planned for December 17. I am very excited! I will be producing photos on canvas prints, landscapes, architecture, and wildlife.

This is small but very nice fine arts gallery. I get 50%, the Gallery keeps 10%, and 40% goes to a charity of my choice (I am seriously considering the Southern Poverty Law Center, a choice which they agree with strongly).

I am not a photographer by profession, but my job as a development economist lets me travel all over the world, so I get tremendous opportunities. I have some stunning African landscapes.

I had my first real camera when I was about 15 (a Canon F1), had my own color darkroom, and have always been an enthusiast.

...don't price your art work too low. I always added the 40% the gallery got to my cost and ppl paid it!

Prices will be $500 to $2,500, the latter for a larger installation (wall panel consisting of 9 prints, Parthenon of the Acropolis in Anthens, B&W)
