November Photo Contest

Hello fellow photographers, it's time to start thinking about a subject for the November photography contest. I am asking for input as to which theme you think would be enjoyable and interesting. Once a few suggestions have been made I'll post them in a poll, and we can move forward with the most popular choice. Onward we go, I look forward to your ideas.

1. Fading of the light. Shadows get longer, days shorter.

It's fun and interesting to play with lighting.

4. Fall and winter is a favorite time of year for playing with shadows

i also like the results of the fall.

3. Symmetry

We've done it before, years back. I recently watched "the handmaid's tale" and was riveted by the symmetry in a lot of the photography. But maybe that was just to take my mind off the story.

I will have to rent the movie again. I cast my vote for symmetry.

I keep touting the work of Orson Welles because we can learn a lot from his use of light and composition.

10. Now i hear

zither music in my head - it is one theme, once there, that does not leave me for hours. Actually, we have done silhouettes before, I remember the photograph that won of people around a fountain. Ms Pip, I think.its been some years back.

11. I revisit sites I've photographed before, so I see no issue with recycling an old theme.

I did not give the impression that I had a problem with it. Am recovering from 8 days down sick. Mind not working properly if I did.
