I'm just getting around to going through the photos from a recent trip to the Southeast, so I'll probably be putting a few more up.

I feel a bit like a spammer, having not posted much since DU3 kicked off.

I swear I can smell "old wood" when I look at that picture. You know, that special smell of dusty, dried wood a hundred or two years old that you only encounter in very old houses.

one of my better shots was of this room which was simply being used as storage. Good luck on your camera hunt! Both Canon and Nikon are very good in the range you are shopping in. I think alfredo is using one of the Olympus PEN series cameras in that price range and he's very happy with it. http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_digital_pen.asp
