2. I woke up to the glow coming through my bedroom window

It was so beautiful I grabbed something out of the LAUNDRY BASKET to put on, so I could run outside and get some photos before it started to fade.

I think we are in for some rain, and maybe storms, later today and tomorrow.

Here in WA by the water they are rare.
In fact, anything but rain is rare...
In southern Illinois they were fierce.

I love them. The cats? Not so much. My Tortie, Boudicca, is a good predictor. If she hunkers down in the bedroom hallway, it's almost a given a storm is on the way. Sophie Stinky Toes, the Tuxedo, races through the house, at break neck speed, and then situates herself by my side, on alert to make sure what ever is flashing and booming, outside, doesn't gain entry.
