Here's a pair: sunrise, sunset...

Not from the same day, but with similar layering of colors. More red in the sunset, more yellow in the sunrise.

I was looking back through my archives to see if I had colorful sunrise and sunset photos on the same day, and apparently not. We get one, not the other. So I think it's interesting that we had similar layering of colors overnight from sunset to sunrise.

This is downtown Raleigh, NC, shot from the north facing balcony of my 17th floor apartment.
