It took me an age to think of a theme that was not about the kind of photo's I do!!!! LOL otherwise it would have been August is for Ancient Looking forward to your picci!

I am rather nervous as a somewhat newbie and 1st time contest poster I won't get many submissions so I am cheered to have three already! It is very encouraging.

It's not uncommon to have a flurry of submissions and then........nothing! If that happens, you can open it up to each one of us who has already submitted to posting a second submission.

We haven't gotten to 30 photos in a long time. Not to worry. Fewer is easier to handle in my not so humble opinion!

15. I am so jet lagged. Has there been a post to The Lounge

to provide a link to the contest this month? It does get some visibility. Sometimes people forget to check the Photography group for the contest announcements.

17. Anyone know how to post from Imgur anymore?

They used to have a direct link option, but that seems not to be the case. I can't post my image!

If you upload a new photo, choose the BB Code link to copy and paste

If you want to use a photo already in your gallery, just click on it and the direct link code is an option.

I am using imgur now for posting photos here and haven't had any problems with it.

23. Dishwater daydreams

I have them every day, yet never have they looked that balanced and intriguing.
WOW - I so wonder how to got that visual of them.

28. You put metallic confetti in your sink, make lots of bubbles, and shoot.

After, you darken the photo a little. Use a straw to boost your bubbles - blow into the soapy water.

I used the overhead sink light with the main sources of light turned off.

I got maybe 4 decent shots out of many, many shots.
