I bought it used for much less.

I want to buy their 60 mm 2.8. A new computer is a higher priority.

swallowtail caterpillars. We’ve had them on our curly leaf parsley. Actually that’s why we plant it so hopefully they lay their eggs on it. We also have some asclepia for monarchs to lay eggs on and have had several caterpillars the last few weeks.

14. I will see about getting some Asclepias tuberosa (Butterflyweed) I know where to plant it.

Monarchs seem to like Zinnia. The front of my townhouse is open, the back abuts a woods. The Black Swallowtail likes the wooded area.

Maybe coming at them from below doesn’t register as a threat. The flowers towered over me, allowing for isolating them against the sky.

Some were shot with a manual lens, the rest with an AF lens. This was the only image I liked enough to show.
