3. Summer travels in France by train...a la izquierda, did you shoot that from the train?

Marvelous composition!

I took a lot of shots of French countryside from the train when I was there in April 2017, traveling from Paris to Strasbourg to Lyon to Bordeaux to Paris by train and LOVED just looking out the window for hours and hours. Never got a shot as glorious as your entry!

I had passed through the Narbonne region a few weeks prior to taking this picture, and on my way back, I made sure to have a window seat. Then again, I always prefer the window seat when traveling.

6. OK, I changed mine (already!)

I never downloaded the insalata shot from my phone to my laptop, so I had forgotten I had it when looking through shots for summer trying to decide which one to enter. I'm going with this one because I LOVE fresh summer tomatoes with mozzarella and basil and olive oil. I ordered this for lunch in Rome at the end of my trip this summer.

Man I miss my meals in Spain and France. Germany and the Netherlands...eh, not so much!

There is a French bistro across the street from my apartment building here in Raleigh. Had dinner there a couple of weeks ago--vichyssoise and trout meuniere--and thought I was back in France, it was that good! But the best caprese salads I've ever had were in Italy.
