3. Aww gee

So pretty. And green grass too!

All we see here is snow and ice and bare tree branches. Black, white, and gray.

Your photos make me long for spring, Peggy!

4. My dear Ohiogal!

I'm sorry it's bleak and cold where you are!

I know that spring in the midwest is amazing--it comes in vibrantly and violently too! Ours kind of sneaks in...

Anyway, I'm glad you like my photos.....

5. Not fair. It is in sunny (more or less) California

Still beautiful! A reason to wait for spring while we experience horrendous wind chill index...

8. I hear you, my dear question everything!

Remember, we have earthquakes and fires/mudslides too...

The flowers help make up for how helpless we really are.

Thank you!

13. What are these "flowers" of which you speak?

They don't do well when it's -25F, which is what we will see for the next couple of days.

14. Spring will get to you later...... It must seem like forever right now.

I can't even imagine how hard it must be to live in such temperatures.

I'm sorry.

15. Here in Minnesota we like to say that the cold winters keep out the riff-raff.

It's not that bad if you wear enough clothes, but I do miss seeing flowers. Or even the color green.

16. I hadn't heard that one, but it sure sounds appropriate!

I'm sure you miss seeing flowers and the color green.

But you have real seasons. We don't.

hasn't really been that warm.

19. Lovely!

Southern California area?

The rain should help with the bloom in February and March.

Maybe a super bloom!

20. Thank you, my dear flamingdem!

Yes, SoCal. We've just started another series of storms today--the first of 3.

A super bloom would be wonderful!
