Where did you take this amazing image? It's gorgeous.

And what a great place to take a break.

This is a monument in Barcelona dedicated to those who died during the Spanish War of Independence (1809).

We just stumbled upon it as we were heading somewhere else. Barcelona is such a beautiful city, full of parks, squares, monuments, etc.

We can’t wait to go back. My wife retires in December, and I think it will be one of our first retirement trips.

But sometimes I feel just like that when on vacation trying to squeeze a lot of site seeing within a short span of time! Will we ever learn. Hahahahahahah!

This was in Barcelona last October. We were there for five days as part of a 19-day trip, and we did try to squeeze a lot in!

I wasn’t clear on the temps; it hit 105* here yesterday where I live in the SF Bay Area, and it should hit 103* today. Supposed to cool back down into the mid-80’s to 90’s the rest of the week.
