Back to digital and a lens I haven't used for a while.

The Focal 28mm 2.8 has such a shallow DOF even with a small f setting, it is not good for moving objects without zone focusing and luck. It's not as sharp as my other lenses, but good enough.

where you live. I really like these. You remind me that I have some lenses I don't use much either. Maybe I should take them out for a spin.

The lens I'm using is probably from a third party supplier for a department store photo department. Sears and K Mart has good photo departments back in mid 20th century. The Sears lenses still pull good prices on eBay. Usually if the lens is made in Japan the quality is good.

recently it has been an auto repair shop. I think that was its original purpose. It is good sturdy industrial revolution architecture.

They are the stuff photo books are made of. Inviting the viewers in to let their own emotion roam.
I think your environs are fascinating and I'm glad your town has you to chronicle it's charm.

neighborhood before, but because I was using a 56mm* lens instead of a **100mm I approached the subjects in a different manner.

I sent my 19mm (38mm in practice) to Sigma to see why the manual focus ring doesn't work, well it worked on their cameras. Other issues didn't show either, so it could be my Oly EPL-1 has some issues that need to be address. Sucks, but I can get an Oly EP-2 body for $250. I'd gain a remote shutter and remote flash. It also sports an all metal body and better LCD. I'd miss the huge hand grip.
