Get ready! *** OCTOBER PHOTO CONTEST COMING SOON! ***
You know how you take a photo... camera, phone, doesn't matter... and you can look at that photo again and again and it makes you smile. It makes you have a warm feeling. It brings on a feeling of happiness. That's the theme this month. Post a photo (one for now.... we'll see how many entries we get and perhaps later allow two photos) that gives you this feeling.
Subject, locale, time, color/black/white... your choice. The photo makes you happy.
This month's theme: If I had to say something about this photo I posted, it would be 'This makes me happy, and I hope it will make you feel happy, too.'
We will begin accepting entries NEXT WEEK, OCTOBER 9.
The contest will run a few weeks and we will update the timeline.
As always, this info, the entries, the polls/preliminaries, results, rules, etc. are posted in (1) Photography group, (2) General Discussion (with permission) and (3) DU Lounge.
SO... make ME happy and go find your best, warmest, happiest photo you can.

I like the theme Curt. I was just joking about how cute animals always seem to win.
By saying that.
As I walked along that little lake I kept stopping and taking pictures though I was hurrying to a bus that - should I miss it - would not come back for 30 minutes. The one you love, and so do I, was the last of 4 shots. And I made the bus. No, it is not that one.
I wanted something else, and I got it. Two of them, same feeling, should we have a chance to enter two.
