Evening light in Tuscany

My wife and I just spent a week in Florence. I thought I'd share a few pics of the Arno I took on our walks. The evening light was beautiful.

16. It did happen to be that still, yes.

The river is quite slow moving anyway, so when the wind dies down it becomes glassy like that.

7. In 1982 I moved to Florence for a year at this time of the year -- thanks for the reminder

of the stunning beauty. (I'll tell you, 'though, Florence in the dead of winter is very grey!)

But not about the UFO.
These are mindblowing photos of vistas we almost never get to see.
I'm closer to you - Karlsruhe - than almost ever.
Just a few more days, then I head back.
