Sunrise and Fisherman

The sunrise this morning was a study in charcoal, pink, and yellow. Quite different from the other day.

The fisherman this morning was standing in a shaft of light from the sun sparkling on the water. Do you like him better in color or B&W?

1. Gorgeous shots

The first one in particular! I think I prefer the color shot of the fisherman.

You have captured an image of what would be my husband's dream life ..... a beach on which to fish every morning.

3. There is a sign on the deck overhang

2. Wow, amazing shots!

These are all beautiful.

I cannot choose which fisherman photo I like better! They are both stunning, for different reasons.

The B&W has the great silvery color I love; the water's surface almost looks curved upward.

The color one has .........well, the colors! They are refreshing and very lovely.

4. CalPeggy, I particularly liked the wave formation

in the fisherman shot which gives it that curved appearance in the B&W. I took a lot of shots of the fisherman this am (from the deck) trying different frames both horizontal and vertical and trying to capture different wave formations.

I am definitely having a lot of fun playing with my camera!
