14. I did start

cosmos, morning glory, sunflower and moonflower inside this week

hope springs eternal... or is it we just really hope spring gets here someday

7. Love the oak-leaf hydrangea shoots, Peggy!

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief.
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Robert Frost got it!

And you knew their name! I was in too much of a hurry to label them.

17. I have some as well.

Mine are a little behind yours, though. Just tiny green leaves, but perfect in their oak-leaf-ness!

9. How beautiful... thank you!

What kind of flower is it?

(We've got dirty melting snowpiles, dead grass and mud. )

15. Thank you, my dear Talitha!

The orange ones are Clivia miniata. They're a semi-tropical flower and they do well out here in the shade.

I love them!

I hope your spring arrives soon!
