Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief.
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Robert Frost got it!

And you knew their name! I was in too much of a hurry to label them.

Mine are a little behind yours, though. Just tiny green leaves, but perfect in their oak-leaf-ness!

What kind of flower is it?

(We've got dirty melting snowpiles, dead grass and mud. )

The orange ones are Clivia miniata. They're a semi-tropical flower and they do well out here in the shade.

I love them!

I hope your spring arrives soon!
