Hello again DU'er's,
Here is a photograph that I took on a trip with my wife out west last summer. We were on a trip by train across Canada from Toronto to Prince Rupert, with a stopover to explore Alberta by rental car.
Along the way we stopped in Riverside Veterans' Memorial Park in Medicine Hat, Alberta, where a pair of old Canadian Pacific F-Unit diesels sit on display.
On this trip I decided to bring my O-gauge Canadian Pacific F-unit that was made by Lionel Trains in 1973 in order to take a picture of it alongside it's full-sized cousins.
As for the photo, I'm pleased with the results. Maybe it's because Lionel Trains did such a good job with their model replicating the colors & livery of the prototype.
Or maybe it's simply because after lugging my model train across the continent and back in my suitcase in order to get this photo, I'm unwilling to believe it wasn't worth it.
In any case, I'm the luckiest guy in the world to have such a wonderful wife who supports my interests and hobbies!
