3. Did you pose them or just let the peaches fall where they may?

And nectarines maybe?

I like the shadows also.

4. Good question.

I mostly put them carefully in the bowl--didn't want to bruise them.

And then when I really looked at them, I thought this would make a neat photo. So here we are!

Yeah, I like the shadows too.

Thanks!

6. No worries! I like conversations, even electronic ones!

Yes, it's a stoneware bowl, quite large. I used to make bread in it.

Glad you like it!

7. That photo made my mouth water! I can feel the fuzz, hear the slight snap of the skin as my teeth

sink in and---sorry---gotta wipe the drool off my keyboard!

8. Soft light. North light. Window light. It's always about the light.

You have used it well my dear Peg.

11. Thank you so much, my dear flamin lib...

You're being too kind, as usual.

The light is important. But there was no window light in this photo. The lights under the cabinets above were the only source here.

I'm glad you enjoyed this little photo of mine.

13. Thanks so much, my dear Talitha!

I think they will be very tasty once they're a bit riper.

14. Yum! I just bought some peaches from a farm stand!

Nice still life. How ever did you get them to pose and be so still? hahahahahaha!

15. Peaches are such an unruly lot! I had to bribe them to stand that still.

Thank you, my dear Callalily!
