mine is a little leggy and i plan on cutting it back to about 6" soon. I'm in central florida so kind of don't consider the seasons

I opened it in a new tab and viewed it at the full res on the hosting site. Wonderful detail. If I am not mistaken it is a gulf coast fritillary.

it's the nikkor 200-500 f5.6 @500mm and I normally lurk about with a TC20 2X on it but today took that off

it focuses to 7' and just amazes me how it makes me feel like I'm using a bellows, rings or macro lens

the prime 500 is even better, but twice as expensive
