2. Thanks so much, my dear Chin music!

I was really aiming for that. Having no breeze this morning helped a lot.

3. Love the way you capture color in the sky and still perfectly expose the moon

for detail.

5. Ah, you're too kind, my dear flamin lib!

I thank you.

I was really happy to see that color! It's fleeting at this time of day.

What kind of rig did you use to track the moon? Id frame this on my wall!

10. Thanks so much, PirateRo! Very kind of you.

I use my Nikon D3200 SLR with the zoom lens by Tamron which can go from 18 mm (wide angle) all the way out to 400 mm! For moon shots, I'm always all the way out for maximum size.

I appreciate your kind remarks!

11. Nice!

If you track the moons motion through the sky, you can take a longer exposure. Devices like these help greatly and you can use them for any celestial body.

You also get cool streaking effects from the stars.

You have a great eye! I hope you keep shooting!

12. Thanks for the tip!

I've taken quite a few moon photos. Check out my Journal to see them, plus other favorite objects.

13. LOVELY, Peg!

It's been 'mostly cloudy' here, but there is hope for tonight.
