3. Alas, my dear Andy, they have no scent as far as I can tell!

But I certainly do appreciate them.

And yours is a great idea!

5. Thank you so much, my dear Diamond_Dog!

I really love seeing these bloom every year. And yes, they are in my yard. These are visible from the living and dining rooms. There's a huge lorapetulum that I see from my study in the front yard. People out walking stop and stare at it when it's blooming.

It is such a treat.

The daffodils are definitely worth the wait!

You will surely have spring soon.

11. May is spring here. :) Well, if you count the trees opening up. We do get a few other things earlier

12. It must be hard waiting for May. But of course the trees count.

I love the new pale yellow-green leaves as they emerge. Glorious and translucent!

9. Both beautiful, but you really created an exquisite photo with the second one.

Light and shadows, beautiful against the background.

10. Thank you so much, my dear MLAA!

I wanted to get underneath the flowers for a different sort of view, and I did that since they grow in a raised bed next to some stairs. I stood below them and that enabled me to get this shot.

I really appreciate your critique!
