Another look at 'Pleased to meet you". . .

I thought it might be illuminating to see what this critter actually looks like. He rode around on my hand for 45 minutes or so with me taking his picture with various backgrounds and at various magnifications. I say 'he' tho it's more likely a she as 'he' had his head eaten while they were procreating. Whole new way to look at 'giving head' . . .

How did you hold the camera? On a tripod? question everything Sep 2021 #3
I held it freehand. With the flash duration there is no problem with camera movement AndyS Sep 2021 #5
He doesn't look nearly so scary in this photo! CaliforniaPeggy Sep 2021 #4

First thought was of a Tim Curry movie where he played the devil.

This one is normal by comparison except it looks like it's ready to take a bite out of Sean Hannity's forehead.

and the auto focus is so fast and accurate I only need one hand. I could also switch back and forth from viewfinder to LCD screen if that worked better. 'Course after awhile the weight of the camera, lens and flash with diffuser got a little heavy so I just took a break. Had a glass of wine, let my arm recover and shot some more pics. Must have made a hundred exposures in the 45 minutes we were together.

When you have a 'willing' subject just say "Work it Baby!" and keep shooting, one of 'em has to be acceptable . . .
