I do pay attention to the framing although not always consciously!

And the fern grew the detail!

I do agree: the colors are wonderful!

Part of having "the eye," I think, is intuitively composing and framing a picture before it becomes a picture. To see a scene as a potential photograph is really neat, inspirational even and gratifying to run that scene through all the mechanics and electronics and digital dooby-dos and see your scene on a screen. And you're good at it all.
